_This position is Part Time Thursday and Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm with a permanent potential for Full Time._Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience working with Sage DESKTOP bookkeeping software is
REQUIRED. - Minimum of
5 years of bookkeeping and payroll experience. - A working knowledge and understanding of bookkeeping, accounts payable principles, and payroll processing.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Tasks/Duties:
- Bookkeeping Functions such as Accounts Payable (matching and coding invoices), Accounts Receivable (creation of sales invoices), Bank and Credit Card reconciliations, and Workinprogress Inventory tracking and monthly reconciliations.
- Prepare, and review financial statements; collect, analyze, balance, and maintain account information to help maximize the accuracy of the reported numbers on a monthbymonth basis and for yearend reporting.
- Prepare GST (monthly) returns.
- Maintain vendor accounts with supporting documentation and reconciliation of statements.
- Maintain financial records and filing.
- Answering phones.
- Additional ad hoc tasks as required.

Part-time hours: 16 per week
Salary:
$22.00-$30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
Sage Desktop: 5 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
