Position Summary


As a Clerk-Court & Criminal Records within our Court and Criminal department, you will be responsible for performing data entry and clerical duties to maintain records and documentation related to criminal records, summonses and subpoenas; and processing occurrence report requests for Probation & Parole on a rotational basis.

You are someone with:

A High School Diploma or equivalent, plus additional courses and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
A minimum of two years of directly related experience required
MS Word-Basic
MS Excel-Basic
MS Outlook
Demonstrated knowledge of CPIC, UCR/Niche required
Demonstrated knowledge of the Document Imaging System preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of ICON preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of occurrence processing procedures
Well developed keyboarding and data entry skills
Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, Criminal Code of Canada and the Youth Criminal Justice Act

What we offer
This is a permanent, part-time position, with five (5) hours per day 09:00hrs-14:00hrs (25 hrs/week).
The hourly range for this permanent, part-time position is $ $40.79.

The salary is complemented with a comprehensive benefit program, including employer-paid Health/Dental and Life Insurance after a six (6) month waiting period; and the OMERS Pension Plan effective upon hire.

Remote work is not available for this position.
