Position:

Working under the direction of the Director, the
Financial Analyst II, will conduct key tasks including

General ledger and account reconciliation
Generating invoices to sponsors

- monitoring interdepartmental cost recoveries

Assisting with budgeting of clinical trials
Coordinating the preparation and analysis schedules, statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders
Other tasks as assigned and adhoc requests, which may include, but are not limited to, developing accounting system for clinical trials, contributing to business cases for program expansion/consolidation ect., or participating on special committees

QUALIFICATIONS:

University degree in Business Administration or equivalent program, required
Working towards completion of a professional accounting program (e.g.,
CPA), or relevant combination of education and experience
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, and or research funding an
Expert knowledge of Excel; strong knowledge of Access and PowerPoint
3 years' relevant experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team player
Experience with financial modeling, financial and cost accounting and with analyzing and interpreting large quantities of financial and statistical data; systems thinker
Client service oriented, with the ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciate that people with different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand
