The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will manage a wide range of business-oriented projects. You will be responsible for the initiation, planning, monitoring, controlling, and closure of assigned projects.
You will work closely with the project sponsors, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and coordinate project team members to successfully deliver projects in scope, on time, and within budget.
You are also responsible for the support of project management processes, their execution, as well as contribution to the continuous improvement of these practices within CLBC.
20% - Project management processes and other support duties
Responsibilities include:
- Sees projects through from Initiation to Closure
- Ensures that assigned project's progress is in scope, on schedule and within the approved budget
- Effectively communicates project objectives, requirements, expectations, concepts, issues and progress to the team, senior management and other stakeholders as required
- Establishes project metrics, monitors, and reports on metrics over course of project to ensure successful completion of projects on time and on budget
- Convenes working groups, facilitates as required
- Maintains CLBC's project registry and related project management processes
- Facilitates intake and processing of new projects and change requests
Qualifications:
- 4year Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- PMP or similar project management certification is required
- Scrum Master and Change Management certifications are a plus
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a project management capacity within a large, complex environment
- Knowledge and experience in service delivery is a plus
- An equivalent combination of education and experience could be considered
