    The School of Education invites applications from candidates for a Tenure Track Position in Teacher Education (Assessment) at the rank of Assistant Professor commencing on July 1, 2024.

    Applicants are expected to have public school teaching experience and to provide evidence of an emerging or established research record.

    Demonstration of evidence of leadership in assessment will be considered an asset. Teaching will be in the area of Assessment within the B.Ed. program will be considered an asset.

    The School of Education is seeking candidates who are committed to contributing to Acadia's priorities of decolonization, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

    The search committee recognizes that scholars have varying career paths and that career interruptions can be part of an academic record


    Academic Qualifications:

    Preference will be given to candidates who have completed or are near completion of a doctorate in Education, and who can provide evidence of research and teaching experience relevant to the area of Assessment.

    a statement of teaching philosophy and evidence of teaching expertise in the area of Assessment
    a statement outlining how you would contribute to the School of Education's priorities of equity,
    diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism
