Responsibilities:

Under direction from the Quality Assurance lead:

Perform quality control inspections of parts and finised assemblies
Complete related quality inspection documents and maintain good records
Inspect parts to standards as required
Participate in problem solving projects related to product and processes
Participate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Production departments on first article sample approval process
Support continuous improvement projects and assist in the development of process, and work procedures

Competencies and Qualifications

Read, write and speak English, with excellent communication and relationship development skills.
Software skills required include MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Web based research abilities.
Familiar with ISO 9001:2008 standards, and quality audit concepts.
1 or more years experience in a Quality Assurance or Quality Control / Inspection Department
Previous experience utilizing qualityrelated tools and inspection methods.
Have the ability to read and interpret procedures and technical drawings, and accurately use basic measuring devices and instruments.
Must have a quality mind set and an understanding of basic quality principals.
Solid mathematical and analytical skills are required, with superior attention to detail.
Strong problem solving skills and be exceptionally Customer focused, responding promptly to customer needs.
Strong Problem solving background.
Good attention to detail and a critical eye for identifying defects and subtle color differences.
Must be energetic, and selfdirected in driving change, and be able to prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
