Job Description:
As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Quadra, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with domestic regulations while supporting the Regulatory Affairs Manager.
- Creating and updating safety data sheets (SDS)
- Developing and maintaining expertise in domestic requirements related to product labeling, storage, transport, and disposal
- Reviewing and approving all new products for import/export and new suppliers
- Managing required compliance documentation, such as Safety Data Sheets, Conflict Minerals, TSCA, and Organic Certification
- Assisting in the creation and maintenance of SDS and labels using Intelligent Authoring software, ensuring compliance with US GHS
- Providing guidance to internal stakeholders on compliance requirements and reporting, including OSHA regulations
- Offering regulatory support to internal and external stakeholders regarding food and pharmaceutical regulations, specifically pertaining to API, supplements, and food ingredients
- Performing any other duties and responsibilities as required
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry or relevant scientific background
- Experience in creating, updating, and maintaining safety data sheets (MSDS)
- Background in regulatory affairs or a related field
- Working knowledge of federal/state regulations applicable to chemical sales and transport
- Familiarity with CEPA, WHMIS, and TDG regulations
- Experience with FDA, EPA, and EHS regulations is a plus
