Human Resource Business Partner (Part-Time)

What you'll do_
The primary function of the HRBP is to work with the senior leadership team to help guide and communicate overall company strategy and implement various initiatives to drive efficiency.
The HRBP will achieve the goals of the business through people initiatives with a focus on optimizing employee retention, improving company culture, and enhancing the overall employee experience.
The HRBP will streamline HR processes in order to reduce administrative burdens and become more automated and data-driven. This effort will create efficiencies, innovation, access to information, and most importantly connect people. This person will be integral to leading the change management effort across all departments.
Responsibilities:

Developing HR Strategies, Policies, and Practices
- Creating an employee handbook (communicating policies)
- Reviewing employment agreements for compliance
- HR record keeping (implementing an HRIS)
- Assist managers with employee relations and policy issues
- Vacation leave administration
- Creating a welldefined employee organizational chart
- Aiding with creative scheduling solutions
Employee Performance
- Improving and fostering employee productivity
- Implementing performance review process
- Implementing manager 1:1s
Employee Relations
- HR checkins
- Creating employee engagement
- Staff wellness initiatives
- Employee surveys and feedback
Compensation & Benefits
- Structuring compensation and benefit packages
- Aiding with payroll administration
- Manage relationship with health benefits provider
Training & Development
- Transmission of knowledge and documentation of business processes
- Assist with identifying opportunities for employees' skills training
- Opportunity to create employee training programs
Compliance
- Implementing and monitoring health and safety protocols
- Language laws upkeep
Recruitment & Selection
- Create structure for onboarding and offboarding employees
- Improve recruiting efficiency and reduce costs

What you'll need_
- CRHA designation is an asset
- Proficient in usage of HR software (HRIS, ATS)
- Bilingual is an asset (French & English)
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources
- Experience providing advice, assistance, and guidance to managers in all departments
- Welldeveloped analytical, problemsolving and organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative and follow through on work assignments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
