The Repertoire Analyst is responsible to process repertoire data fromRe:
Sound members, international music licensing companies, and direct assignors to facilitate the distribution of monies, levies and tariffs to rightsholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Process repertoire data in
Re:
Sound's database in a timely manner.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Analyzing and correcting repertoire files from external sources as necessary.
- Crossreferencing unmatched repertoire records against repertoire database and matching against existing records or creating new records, as applicable.
- Creating performer lineup information where necessary.
- Data analysis and management
Tasks include:
- Correcting/updating existing repertoire data.
- Assist with other projects/tasks as assigned.
Job specifications/skills
- University degree or college diploma in either music studies or business.
- Broad knowledge of various music genres including contemporary, classical, jazz, and electronic an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Critical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong multitasker with excellent communication and time management skills.
- Proficiency in French an asset.
