VPAC Construction Group is looking for a Carpenter to start work immediately on a commercial interior project in Victoria area.


Your responsibilities will be to:


  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and personnel in both written and verbal form
  • Familiarity with materials, tools and machinery use
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and maintain them in proper operating condition
  • To estimate materials required to complete tasks
  • Perform all work related to rough carpentry and finish carpentry
  • Assist and guide others to improve their skills and complete tasks in an expedient manner
  • Hardware, Miscellaneous Carpentry framing, Backing & Finishing
  • Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and positive demeanor while working
  • Strong work ethic, reliable and natural attention to detail
  • Use your skills to build a highquality product
  • Provide your carpentry skills to build our clients projects efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure your work is of the highest quality standards
  • Be able to work independently with little supervision

What we're looking for:


  • Valid driver's license and have own transportation
  • Must have following basic tools: Sawzall, skill saw, drill (corded and cordless), hand tools including level, pry bars, hammer, tool belt and safety footwear
  • Forklift ticket will be beneficial

Salary:
$28.00-$35.00 per hour
