    THE CLIENT
    Excellent opportunity for a driven, motivated and entrepreneurial Architectural Technologist or Building Technologist, who wants to excel and progress their career and be a part of lead designs with a full range architecture, planning and interior design firm. Projects range in various industries including retail, residential, mixed-use, office and senior health-care projects.     THE JOB
    The Architectural Technologist position will require thorough knowledge and experience with multi-family wood frame projects - working on low and mid rise projects of this sector (you would of worked on at least 5 of these type of projects). This role will have focus on producing detailed working drawing packages in Revit and creating building permits for submission. With a fast paced environment and project deliverables and timelines to meet, the Architectural or Building Technologist will need excellent project management, time management and communication skills, with high attention to detail. This is a very collaborative and collective team with an excellent and inclusive working environment and an organization that allows the flexibility to design and learn as their career moves forward.

    WHAT'S REQUIRED
    The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;
    • Bachelor's in Architecture/Architectural Technologist/Building Technologist Certificate or similar
    • 3+ years' experience years of experience working with multi-family wood frame projects - as well as other project experience is an asset
    • Excellent experience working with Photoshop, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
    • REVIT experience is important
    • Knowledge of the BC Building Codes is preferred
    • Proven experience working with municipal approvals processes and city permits
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills
    • Remote work is available for individuals in other provinces who meet all requirements above and have even more extensive technical experience on multi-family wood frame projects
