Brampton Chrysler is looking for a Tower Operator to join our our team in the GTA area.


As a Tower Operator you are responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the flow of service work through the Service Department per the dealership and manufacturer standards.


Part of the Tower Operator's duties include the dispatch & assigning of repair orders to shop service technicians; maintaining orderly & quick flow of work in the shop; working closely service consultants to ensure expedient & efficient work flow in the shop.


Job Duties include:

  • Implements and maintains an effective dispatch system.
  • Schedules shop work to facilitate maximum productivity in accordance with dealership policy and the technician skill level required.
  • Prioritizes and controls all comebacks to ensure proper and prompt attention.
  • Ensures proper repair order documentation, i.e., compliant, cause and correction noted on every repair order with punch time for each operation.
  • Reviews job status frequently, logging status and reporting any change in time or cost estimates to the appropriate service advisor and/or customer.
  • Maintains an organized and up to date repair log.
  • Prepares estimates when required.
  • Review hard copies of repair orders turned in by technicians to ensure that assigned work has been performed and the repair order has been completed properly.
  • Ensures that technicians follow warranty material disposition procedures.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings
  • Other tasks as required.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in a similar position or working in the Service Department of a dealership required.
  • Experience using automotive software an asset
  • Computer experience required
  • Able to work well under pressure and able to multipoint task
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Dependable, good attendance record and work ethic is a must
  • Must have valid Drivers License
