About the Opportunity:
The Administrative Assistant provides office managerial support to the Health Service Manager, ICU, Med/Surg & Medical Units at South Shore Regional Hospital.
The incumbent functions as a primary point of contact for the Manager, responding to general information requests related to the office or referring calls to others as appropriate.
Provides confidential administrative service with high quality of organizational and communication skills to assist and support the Manager in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the office on a daily basis.
About You:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- Grade XII plus a graduate of a recognized office administration program/business program/secretarial program required
- Minimum of three years secretarial experience required
- Conference/large meeting planning experience an asset
- Self
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Sound problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; including formatting and proof reading of large documents
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people and personalities in a professional manner
- Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred
Hours:
Permanent Full-time position, 75 Hours Bi-weekly
Compensation and Incentives:
$ $26.98 Hourly
