Department Overview


The National Office, Specialized Home Financing is accountable for developing and executing MMS and Broker Channel strategies; delivering business performance insights to drive growth and increase productivity; and creating and implementing policies, processes, and capabilities to support our MMS and Broker Channels.

Our team works closely with One TD partners, RESL, and Sales Channel leaders, to support 1A channel governance, conduct risk, channel engagement programs (R&R, rallies, conferences), and the management of the Mobile Mortgage Specialist Assistants.

Reporting to a Team Manager within the National Office, Specialized Home Financing under the newly-formed Credit Application Review team, a
Credit Application Analyst will support our Sales Channels and CPB Operations Credit Centre in all areas of credit document compliance and administration.


A typical day at work will include:

  • Reviewing credit deal submissions and customer documentation for accuracy, submission quality, document compliance, and adherence to regulatory requirements before and after the file is underwritten.
  • Supporting partner relationships and be responsible for providing a broad range of operational and/or credit processing activities to ensure business objectives and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met
  • Interpreting credit policies, legal requirements, and regulatory guidelines to ensure loan documents meet applicable standards
  • Adopt a customercentric approach to deal review in support of helping the RESL business achieve its growth aspirations
Job Requirements

  • Have mortgage/credit lending experience (preferred)
  • Have superior computer/technology skills
  • Have superior proficiency with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Be able to work independently, multitasking in a fastpaced environment
  • Demonstrate excellent judgement, time management skills, and be able to meet/exceed timelines and SLA expectations from a customer as well as a business partner perspective
  • Demonstrate attention to detail
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Be willing work variable hours

Experience and Education:


  • High School diploma / Undergraduate degree and/or
  • 1+ years relevant experience
