We are looking for a Business Analyst, Visitor Services Operating Systems


The Business Analyst, Visitor Services Operating Systems is responsible for recommending and implementing changes to optimize the use of information and technology systems in the Corporate Security and Visitor Services Division which are critical services that support daily operations and revenue generation for the Museums.

He/she is also tasked to review current processes and new initiatives tied to information and technology systems, implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and assist in the planning of information and technology requirements for the division.

Three (3) years of relevant and recent experience in:

  • Front line services operations;
  • Working with multiple software platforms that support daily operation; such as, Point of sale software (Galaxy/Vista/ Raymark), scheduling software, etc.;
  • Supporting and training staff;
  • Project management and reporting;
  • Business Analysis to optimize the use of technologies to increase operational efficiencies and offering;
  • Providing recommendations on best business practices.

Knowledge of:


  • Point of sale systems and best practices;
  • Revenue generating systems such as parking, ticketing, reservations and Scheduling software;
  • Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance and regulations;
  • Cash handling practices and controls;
  • Box office, call center and revenue generating operations;
  • Business analysis practices and techniques;
  • IT systems and their integration into front line operations;
  • Legislative requirements such as the Privacy Act, Management of Information Technology Security, Access to Information Act and Official Languages Act;
  • Public and/or cultural organizations.

Education:
Degree in business administration or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Compensation:
E6 - $ 71,173 to $ 88,080 (under review)

Status:
Temporary Full-Time Position until September with possibility of extension (# 10432)

Location:100, Laurier Street, Gatineau, Quebec and possibility of hybrid work.
