We are seeking a talented individual to post on TikTok, and change the world (or LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube ).

There's a little more to it than that, but we still think that is true of this position. The Marketing Team at the BC Green Party is ready for a bold and beautiful new era. One that prioritizes sustainability, health, community, and inclusion. It's a big and bold decision and we're looking for a content creator to join this ambitious new team.

If you spend your time paying attention to TikTok trends and scrolling Twitter while signing petitions in your spare time, we want you.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact and support our commitment to green economics, social justice, and responsible governance.


Position Type:
Temporary Full-Time Contract (35+hrs Mon-Fri with occasional Sat)


Contract Expected End Date:
Mid December 2024


Annual Salary Range:
$43,700 - $50,000

As a
Content Coordinator at BC Green Party, you'll get to:

  • Work with the Brand Manager and Communications Team to create organic and promoted (paid) social media campaigns to support different objectives on LinkedIn, Tik Tok, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Managing online persona and reputation across various online channels
  • Work with our design team to create visuals to incorporate on social media and on our online content.
  • Must be an expert in editing within social media apps (Instagram reels, TikTok) and other apps like Capcut
  • Familiarity with Facebook Business Manager and dashboard analytics for the other major platforms
  • Monitoring breaking news and developing relevant content within the news cycle
  • Onsite for key events to capture for social media (requires some travel)
  • Coordinating the social media brand ambassador program
  • Building and managing a growing list of amplifiers for digital content
  • Managing oneonone engagement with social media users with the possibility of working with volunteers on the social media accounts
  • Interacting with industry leaders, influencers and enthusiasts to increase online engagement
  • Integrating a feedback loop to identify issues, trends, and solutions
  • Analyzing the longterm needs of the social media strategy and solutions that outline any necessary changes or recommendations to increase awareness, engagement and conversions
  • Delivering weekly reports with insightful analytics and recommendations for social media growth, increased website traffic and conversions
  • Using available tools to test audience responses to improve results continually
  • Assisting in conducting competitor analysis and market research
  • Overseeing processes and upholding standards of the BC Green Party brand for campaign teams across BC

What you will bring to the team:

A minimum of two years experience in one or more of the following areas: digital marketing, copywriting, communications, and marketing management is preferred.


  • Knowledge of Canadian politics and elections is essential.
  • Certificate, diploma or degree in Digital Marketing or Communications or an equivalent combination of work experience and education
  • Creative ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, userfriendly format
  • Welldeveloped writing skills with the ability to relate complex issues to nonexperts
  • Knowing the latest trends and how to implement them best.
  • Keeping up to date on the available tools to create and monitor content
  • Working effectively with others to generate ideas and to effectively execute plans within budget and timelines
  • Being reactive in a fastpaced environment to multiple incoming priorities in real time while proactively prioritizing tasks and projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget to achieve goals
  • Proactively identifies trends and opportunities, and implements response strategies
  • Strong analytical skills to develop and review relevant metrics and report findings with a thorough analysis of potential impacts
