Job Description Summary:

The Clinical Application Specialist (CAS) will deliver technical and clinical expertise within the Patient Care Solution portfolio by providing excellent education and training support to clinical end-users.

The CAS is a clinical expert supporting the pre-sale product demonstrations (or clinical trial support), as well as post-sale installation, training and/or customer service activities to support sales objectives for their geography.

This is national role within Canada. Responsibilities may also include ongoing post-sale customer support including on site clinical in-servicing and go-live support. Responsibilities

  • Advance new product (NPI) features and anesthesia, respiratory & perioperative monitoring care techniques; partner with customers in developing training plans / strategies that support new product assimilation (ARC) and ongoing training needs.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective based system training, monitor and report on training outcomes. Training will be conducted onsite at customer facility and remote virtually.
  • Work in close collaboration with Product Team, identify customer satisfaction opportunities, issues, assist in escalations, problem determination and specialty training requests.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) to standardize and optimize protocols and support our clinical education initiatives. Participate in install base upgrade programs, proactive strategic customer touchpoints.
  • Drive sales process by conducting clinical product demonstrations and onsite evaluations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual, demonstrated speaking and writing skills in both French and English.
  • Associate degree or equivalent with 3+ years of ARC technical/clinical industry experience
  • Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (CSRT, Provincial body) with Anesthesia Assistant as a Preferred qualifications.
  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on audience.
  • Willingness to travel extensively 80+% (4 days per week including overnights and some weekends) within the US and Canada via multiple modes of transportation (car, air travel, & train, etc.).
  • It is a condition of hire that any new employee or contract worker that will provide products or services to a GE HealthCare customer facility are fully vaccinated and provide proof of COVID19 vaccination. All offers of employment are conditional upon the satisfaction of this requirement. "Fully vaccinated" means that any such person must have received two doses of a COVID19 vaccination approved by Health Canada. The second dose of vaccine must have been administered at least 14 clear days before commencing employment.
