    The Juravinski Hospital and Cancer Centre, located on Hamilton's beautiful mountain brow, is home to one of the largest and most comprehensive Regional Cancer Programs in Ontario.     Position Summary

    Operating within the Seniors, Emergency, and Community Medicine Program, F5 is a unit that cares for patients with serious medical conditions. The interdisciplinary care team supports a primarily geriatric patient population with multi-system chronic illnesses.

    The Occupational Therapist practices in accordance with the Code of Ethics established by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the provision of assessments, treatment interventions, discharge planning and community liaison. Some coverage to other clinical areas will be provided as needed. Opportunities exist for program development, student education, and research initiatives.

    Qualifications

    1. Registered with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario
    2. Graduate of an approved program in Occupational Therapy
    3. Excellent time management, problem-solving and team work skills
    4. Excellent verbal/written communication skills

    As a condition of employment, you are required to submit proof of full COVID-19 vaccination to Employee Health Services.
