    Job Overview

    Reporting to the Sales Manager, as the Manager, Scheduling you will develop and oversee the scheduling process to support other departments and to enhance the business unit's overall operational efficiency. You also develop and foster positive relationships with both internal and external parties.

    Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing a standardized scheduling process to ensure jobs are efficiently scheduled and information is shared with all related parties in a timely manner. Providing direction and guidance to Lead in implementation of scheduling process.
  • Establishing and maintaining communication methods and forecasting to support scheduling management.
  • Supporting performance management data, scorecards, dashboards and trackers to ensure jobs are done in alignment with prescribed schedules and quality standards.
  • Developing and overseeing customer relationship management system to ensure delivery of excellent customer service to all clients.
  • Supervising, developing and providing guidance to employees within the department, while promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • Developing and implementing best practices and standards to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Building and fostering positive relationships with clients and other related parties.
  • Developing an efficient training process to allow for smooth transition for new hires.

  • Essential requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in Project Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience related to scheduling and/or project management.
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint) and ERP software (BisTrack or similar), Design software (MiTek or similar) and CRM systems.
  • Preferred Requirements

  • Knowledge of Building Materials, Production and/or Construction industry is a strong asset.

    You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours. Travel to sites and overtime may occasionally be required.
