As the
Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining professional relationships with both internal and external customers to successfully meet objectives and add value for customers.
- Work to achieve high levels of positive working relationships with customers to fully demonstrate BME Mining Canada's service commitment.
- Understand and enhance service requirements to continually improve customer profitability.
- Implement continuous improvement programs by following management policies and procedures in order to meet customer expectations, business objectives, and budget goals.
- Prepare and submit the proper paperwork to document expenses, safety statistics, payroll information, and others as required by policy.
- Experience with electronic and nonelectric blasting systems
- Experience with gassed emulsion products
- Experience with the pumping of bulk emulsion products and safety protocols
- Understanding and knowledge of drilling operations
- Overall blast design and safety procedures experience in regard to blasting operations
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations and mine blasting standards
- We are hiring for several opportunities. Some positions may require travel and a camp rotation (14/14).
About you
Education:
- College Diploma or a minimum grade 12 with equivalent experience.
- Common Core Modules , 770210, 770225,
Experience:
- 5 Years of experience in a supervisory role, including experience leading employees.
Skills:
- Microsoft Office, and related software products.
- Excellent problemsolving and critical thinking ability.
- Demonstrate open and transparent dialogue in all aspects of work.
- Must be obsessed with safety and risk.
- Written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and work well with others in a team environment.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Knowledgeable of applicable ERD, Transport Canada, and all other relevant regulations related to the explosives industry
- Travel (50%) may vary depending on the location and nature of the work directed.

Job Types:

Salary:
$34.00-$40.00 per hour
