Mining Sales

Fisher Wavy is looking for a hard-working, self-motivated employee to fill the position of Mining Sales Specialist across Northern Ontario and based at our Retail Store located at 1297 Kelly Lake Road in Sudbury.

This is a full-time permanent position reporting directly to the Sales Manager. The position comes with a competitive salary, company pension and an extensive benefits package.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mining Sales:
Initiate sales inquiries inperson across Ontario.
Provide product information, pricing, and quotes to potential customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to meet revenue targets.
Maintain accurate records of sales interactions and customer details.
Review sales team needs and ordering of required products.
Identify product needs at each mine site.
Product Technical Support:
Provide after sales onsite technical support both on surface and underground to the various mines.
Organize and complete product testing.
Update and distribute technical information to customers.
Keep current with all technical information.
Delivery Services Organization:
Coordinate product deliveries and ensure timely dispatch.
Liaise with logistics partners to track shipments and resolve any issues.
Communicate delivery schedules to customers.
Customer Quotes:
Prepare accurate and concise quotes for potential clients.
File electronic quotes in the appropriate shared file locations for billing to access.
Follow up on quotes with sales team.
Ensure Dispatch has the most recent information to dispatching products.
Time Management:
Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
Efficiently manage multiple responsibilities.
Organize travel efficiently.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Reporting:
Provide regular reports to the Sales Manager on sales activities, leads, and performance.
Display professionalism toward our company and customers.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures: safety standards operations, maintenance, training, cleanliness standards, etc.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

High school diploma or significant mining background (Mining Technologist or Engineering degree preferred)
Experience in mining, mining sales, or mine supply required with a strong focus on customer service.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must possess strong organizational skills
Must be detailoriented
Excellent computer skills including using programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Ability to adapt to lastminute changes as dictated by the needs of our customers
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
Ability to work independently and within a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
Ability to travel
