QA Automation Analyst in our Toronto office.

What you'll do:

Experience in all phases of Software Testing Life Cycle, Bug life Cycle and methodologies like Agile, Waterfall and TDD.
Expertise in automation testing methodologies, various levels and types of testing, testability analysis & requirements definition, test analysis & design techniques and documentation using existing quality statistics.
Experience building automation from scratch, Jenkins pipelines/plugin development, desire to research and implement new technologies.
Strong experience in developing the mobile automation framework, scripts using Java, JavaScript, Appium, Selenium, UI Automator.
Implement & maintain automation frameworks for native mobile apps on Android and iOS platforms.
Strong knowledge of functional and nonfunctional testing working in Agile.
Develop and maintain the automation scripts and run them on CI/CD through Jenkins.
Support product releases by crafting and reviewing automated test plans and coverage.
Investigate test failures using root cause analysis during triage, prioritization, maintenance, and planning efforts.
Handon experience of implementing parallel test execution across multiple platforms, within a cloud environment.
Practical experience of REST API testing tools, such as Postman or SoapUI browser/mobile devices.
Continuously improve current frameworks while frequently evaluating new alternatives.
Define and implement test automation strategies, including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
Provide technical guidance for mobile automation to junior members.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to propose practical solutions to complex problems.
Flexibility, selfmotivation and the ability to give and receive feedback at all levels.

What you'll bring:

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
4+ years' experience with automated cross browser & mobile test automation.
Excellent QA skills (critical thinking, passion about quality, troubleshooting).
Experience with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence.
Demonstrated skill using code repositories, preferably Git.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team while prioritizing daily tasks.
Good understanding of software development best practices.
Extensive experience with a variety of test automation tools/frameworks using Perfecto or Mocha Framework.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Selfmotivated, independent thinker with excellent communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple initiatives concurrently; able to respond and adapt to changing priorities and timelines.
