As a Web Performance Consultant, you will be a key player in helping our clients achieve this transformation.

Using our proven methodology, you will be responsible for analyzing and diagnosing client websites, and coaching their teams to improve load times, responsiveness, and overall performance.

You will collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to deliver best-in-class results that exceed our clients' expectations.


Responsibilities:

• Analyze website performance metrics to identify areas for improvement using a variety of tools
• Conduct onpage assessments to pinpoint performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for improvements
• Coach clients to troubleshoot, implement, and validate performance issues
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including developers and designers, to optimize website performance
• Stay uptodate with industry trends and emerging technologies related to website performance
• Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and results to clients and internal team members to demonstrate the impact of performance improvements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in web performance optimization and site speed improvements
• Strong knowledge of how a webpage is loaded in a browser, and the corresponding website speed optimization techniques, including asset optimization, caching, and code optimization.
• Proficient with web performance monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Lighthouse, WebPageTest, NewRelic, etc.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret website performance data to prioritize potential opportunities
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to client stakeholders
• Proactive, resultsdriven mindset with the ability to work independently, or in collaboration with our team and clients

Nice to have

• Coaching experience, training developers, QA and product teams
• Product management experience in building a defensible business case for site speed
• Experience building websites with frontend Javascript frameworks such as Angular and React
