    Our Client is seeking Project Managers to oversee projects for OPOR and be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the strategic and tactical planning, implementation, and support of the various Record and Database Management projects such as Registration, Scheduling, Laboratory Medicine, Emergency Medicine and various clinical solution streams for the program.

    These ideal candidate will have led similar implementations within a healthcare organization and is expected to assist in the planning and scope management for the workstream projects, where required.

    Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) is an asset.


    Overview of Contract:

    Role:
    Project Manager (6-10 Project Managers Total)
    Contract Duration: 1 Year with option to extend for another 1 year

    Location:
    Nova Scotia ( candidates must either be local to the province or be willing to travel onsite 2 days/week )

    Implement the project in support of the provincial strategic direction under the guidance and direction of the Program Manager – PM CoE.

    Responsible for ensuring that projects within the area of responsibility are implemented to support the effective and safe delivery of patient information to care providers.

    Will ensure projects are transitioned to support services/operations in accordance with OPOR program support policy/practice.

    Responsible to provide coverage when other members of the PM CoE project management team are on vacation, where applicable.

    Support Project Manager team members within workstream assigned.

    Knowledge and skills in leading projects in the areas of Laboratory Medicine, Diagnostic Imaging, Patient, or Provider Portals specifically with Oracle Health (namely Cerner) Clinical Information System solutions is a desired asset.

    Knowledge and skills in the areas of Project Management methodologies, tools, applications, and systems of support.
    Undergraduate degree. Consideration may be given to those with equivalent training and work experience.
    Project Management Certification (PMP) required.
    Master's degree an asset, particularly in health administration, leadership, Master of Business Administration.
    Certified Health Executive (CHE) and/or Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems (CPHIMS) designation an asset.

    Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience with IM/IT Services, project management, programs, and services.
    Project Management experience in a complex health care organizational environment preferred.
    Experience in leading teams of staff with indirect accountabilities to other operational units
    Experience in data analytics
