Description
***The primary function of the Crew Foreman is to provide direction, on-floor leadership and continuous improvement of the production processes, procedures, and equipment. A Strike Crew Foreman provides leadership and scheduling, and coordinates, supervises and ensures the safety and productivity of their assigned labourer. Employees are expected to support and participate in a "culture of safety" and adhere to and be ambassadors of Strike's Code of Conduct and Values, and to treat others with dignity, respect, and fairness.


PROJECT DETAILS

  • Must be willing to travel and work in the Drayton Valley area
  • 24/4 rotation (weather dependent)
  • LOA provided if necessary

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Pipeline integrity digs

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Operate 25 ton picker trucks, telehandlers, skidsteers and AWP
  • Participate in daily toolbox Meetings
  • Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews
  • Complete Task Hazard Assessments, Drivers Logs, and review Job Site Assessments
  • Manage and maintain client relationships
  • Complete quality reports and required statistics
  • Inform the Superintendent of any out of scope work
  • Move equipment and materials between sites
  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment for transporting to work locations, following applicable safety securement protocols
  • Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor
  • Maintain all equipment and tools in good and safe working condition and report any findings to lead hand
  • Managing and performing general housekeeping and daily cleanup of work area

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • H2S Alive
  • Standard First Aid/CPR
  • Ground Disturbance
  • Confined Space

Experience

  • Previous pipeline integrity dig experience is required

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES

  • Must be able to pass preemployment drug and alcohol testing
  • Capable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlines
  • Strong coordination skills and organization skills
  • Written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license
