Domaine d'expertise: Le groupe fournit des amorces d'instrumentation et des modifications matérielles pour les essais de moteurs dans une capacité de recherche et développement. L'expertise comprend l'instrumentation matérielle personnalisée du moteur,l'instrumentation d'essai en vol pour les équipementiers et divers travaux d'usinage et de traitement de la tôle. Le demandeur doit être compétent dans l'utilisation d'équipements de brasage tendre et de soudagepar points, ainsi que d'outils de mesure de la température. L'individu doit être capable de lire et de comprendre des dessins d'ingénierie complexes. Expérience de l'utilisation d'outils de mesure de précision et de machines d'opération telles que (perceuse à colonne, presse à poinçonner et cintreuse à tube).

**Principales responsabilités**:

- Fabrication et installation d'instrumentation statique.
- Installer l'instrumentation ou le matériel d'essai propre aux moteurs ou aux aéronefs avec peu ou pas de supervision (thermocouple et statique)
- Coordonner la modification de composantes en vue de l'instrumentation / cheminement hors du moteur
- Suporter les moteurs instrumentés à l'assemblage et au banc d'essais
- Utilisation de plusieurs machines outil (Tour, Fraiseuse, perceuse ) pour la fabrication de pièces expérimentale.

**Qualifications requises du poste**:

- Diplôme collégial, ou autre formation post-secondaire avec un minimum de 5 ans d'expérience dans un domaine connexe à l'assemblage
- Connaissance ou formation de machiniste serait un attout.
- Démontrer une forte capacité d'analyse et de compréhension de sujets complexes.
- Démontrer de bonnes qualités interpersonnelles
- Capable de travailler efficacement en équipe ou en autonomie.

**Areas of Expertises**:
Area of Expertise: The group provides Instrumentation leadouts and hardware modification for engine testing in a research and development capacity. Expertise includes custom engine hardware instrumentation, Flight test instrumentation for OEMs and various machining and sheet metal work. The applicant should be proficient in the use of soldering, brazing and spot welding equipment, as well as temperature measuring tools. The individual must have the ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings. Experience in the use of precision measuring tools and operating machinery such as : drill press, punch press and tube bending equipment. Machine

shop background would be an asset.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Coordinate component modification for instrumentation and routing purposes.
- Support instrumented engines at assembly and in test cells
- Manufacture and installation of static instrumentation.
- Install instrumentation or test equipment specific to engines or aircraft with little or no supervision (thermocouple and static)

**Required Job Qualifications**:

- College degree, or other post high school training (two years duration) with minimum of 5 years experience in instrumentation related field
- Knowledge or training as a machinist.
- Demonstrate Strong Analytical skills and understanding of complex issues
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to work efficiently within a team environment as well as work well independently.
- Good knowledge of electronics and computer based systems including data acquisition systems
