The Canadian Commercial Effectiveness Services (CES) team supports providers of healthcare products and services with understanding commercial opportunities and the strategies and tactics to optimize them.

This involves supporting clients at all points along the product development life cycle, from launch planning, to optimizing marketing and sales channels, through to maximizing the value of products as they face competitive market entrants.

We offer students the opportunity to work on the most strategic topics in the life sciences world in an interdisciplinary and challenging environment.

You will help our clients develop solutions for critical business issues, bring innovative drugs onto the market, and help healthcare products sustain and grow in a challenging business environment.

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to strengthen your analytical and business skills working with our team of highly qualified consultants.

The role will include the following responsibilities:

Participate in the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and development of proposals and cost-effective solutions
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis in the development of client specific solutions
Design, structure, and deliver presentations that are appropriate to the characteristics or needs of the audience with some senior input
Proactively develops knowledge of related consulting methodologies and the pharmaceutical market through the delivery of consulting engagements and participation in formal and informal learning opportunities
Support internal process improvement initiatives and thought leadership

What we are looking for

Exceptional and ambitious MBA students who are interested to join us for 4 months
Ideally, you already had the chance to gain practical experience in consulting or the health care industry and are involved in related extracurricular activities
You demonstrate strong analytical problemsolving skills and the ability to analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources
You possess an advanced understanding of economic and business problems, an independent and engaged working style, and team player capabilities that allow you to interact confidently in project teams
You have strong written and verbal communication skills
