Description
Waterdown Manor is looking for a
Housekeeper to join their retirement home team. We are currently looking for someone with
full-time daytime availability.

A Housekeeper joining the Waterdown Family will:

  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Ensure that resident suites/bedrooms and common areas throughout the home are kept in good order, and clean
  • Clean, sweep, vacuum, mop floors
  • Ensure bathrooms (resident suites/common areas) are kept in good order
  • Dust throughout the home
  • Ensure window ledges, and windows are clean
  • Reset furniture in a presentable way as directed in common areas as needed
  • Ensure that outdoor furniture, and entryway is presentable, as directed (seasonally)
  • Work closely with Director of Care and Operations to ensure that resident rooms are being kept tidy to best of ability, and maintenance for followups as needed
  • Be able to interact with residents, coworkers, and families
  • Monitor quantity of cleaning supplies on hand, and reorder as needed as per protocol

Qualifications:

  • High school education (or equivalent)
  • Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Proof of a negative Tb Skin Test

Job Types:

Salary:
$17.00-$19.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
