As a Social Media Content Creator, you'll be responsible for curating, producing, and managing engaging content across our social media platforms.
As a Social Media Content Creator at BDC, you are resourceful, autonomous, curious and structured. If you're keen to be part of an energetic team, you've come to the right place
CHALLENGES TO BE MET- Content creation- Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms tailored to the needs of Canadian entrepreneurs. Deliver social media posts in various formats such as photographs, memes, and videos for online sharing. Based on the approved social media strategy, drive the content creation process from ideation to execution, closely working with the creative services team to ensure alignment with BDC's brand. In-depth knowledge of major social media platform trends, codes, and algorithms to adapt content for increased engagement. Adapt existing BDC content to sustain the brand's visibility and engagement levels.-Collaboration and ideation- Provide social media content expertise to colleagues and partners.-Performance analysis- Evaluate content impact using data and analytics tools, focusing on user engagement metrics. Implement a testing approach in the planning of content for continuous improvement. Produce performance reports, relay findings to the team, present recommendations, and deliver plans to increase BDC's organic presence in existing and new social media channels.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR- Proven experience creating engaging content with a portfolio showcasing your work.- Strong familiarity with social media platforms and trends and the ability to innovate with content styles.- Proficiency in Adobe Suite for editing.- Strong copywriting and editing skills for social media.- Agency experience or experience managing relationships with agencies (an asset).- Excellent understanding of the ever-changing social media landscape.- 360-degree experience in social media strategy development, community management, content marketing, and paid posts.- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the content creation process.- Strong understanding of social media monitoring and reporting tools.- Knowledge of the financial, entrepreneurship, or B2B sectors.
