Description

We are seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a Co-op Marketing Assistant, with a focus on supporting content creation and social media management.

In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator to create engaging content, manage social media platforms, and assist in executing various marketing initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in marketing, content creation, and social media management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator to develop and execute content strategies aligned with our brand guidelines.

Conduct research and gather relevant information to develop well-informed and high-quality content.

Optimize content for SEO to increase visibility and organic reach.

Schedule and publish content across social media platforms, ensuring consistency and adherence to the content calendar.

Monitor social media channels, engage with followers, and respond to comments and inquiries in a timely manner.

Assist in analyzing social media metrics and providing insights to enhance performance and engagement.

Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design, and brand building.

Provide general support as needed.


Requirements:

Currently enrolled in a University/College program in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.

Proficient in content creation and copywriting, with the ability to adapt writing style to various channels and target audiences.

Familiarity with social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and social media management tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, Later)

Basic understanding of SEO principles and content optimization strategies.

Knowledge of marketing and design trends and social media best practices.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.

Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
