Description
We are a small construction company specializing in utility trenching, generator pads, emergency response excavation, EV chargers, site restores, remediation.
We are looking for aLabourer to join us.
Pay is based on experience, ranging between $25-$32 per hour.
We work on sites across southern Ontario.
Responsibilities / Duties:
- Assist in preparing job sites prior projects.
- Load and unload material, tools and equipment into vehicles and trailers required at construction sites each morning.
- Clean work site of any tools, debris and equipment, ensuring housekeeping is consistently maintained.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
- Operate hand tools as directed
- Direct traffic at construction sites.
- Raking, shoveling, unloading trucks and maintenance tasks
- Digging trenches, raking and shoveling
- Cleaning debris and removing waste materials from sites
- Assisting equipment operators.
- Miscellaneous tasks.
Qualifications:

Must have 3 years of construction experience
:
- Valid DZ license a huge asset.
- Experience in operating a skid steer.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willing to work long hours Monday to Friday.
- Able to meet at our yard each morning (located in Newmarket) for loading and unloading the trucks, machines, materials and trailers for the day's projects.
Salary:
$25.00-$32.00 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newmarket, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Civil construction: 3 years (required)
