    Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
    • Assist in the design, development, and testing of gearbox systems for various applications.
    • Conduct research and analysis to identify design improvements and optimize gearbox performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate gearboxes into larger mechanical systems.
    • Perform calculations, simulations, and testing to ensure gearbox reliability, efficiency, and durability.
    • Support troubleshooting and problem-solving efforts related to gearbox issues.
    • Stay current with industry trends, standards, and best practices in gearbox design and technology.
    • Engage with customers to understand their unique requirements and designs needed for custom products.
    • Ensure continued innovation and learning through the active involvement of servicing products from other manufacturers.
    The successful candidate has:
    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
    • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and fundamentals.
    • Some familiarity with gearbox components, mechanisms, and gearing systems is considered an asset
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, KissSoft, UTS) and other engineering analysis tools.
    • Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
    • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    • Registered with APEGA
    Compensation and benefits:
    • The discussed salary range is $85 000 to $95 000 depending on experience.
