Pay Scale:
$28.00/Hr - $40.00/Hr
Work Hours: 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, some overtime
Job brief:
Responsible for servicing, repairing, maintaining and replacing HVAC mechanical systems.
You will diagnose problems, explain these to customers in clear, non-technical terms, relay costs to customers, and offer alternative solutions.
You will order and collect parts once the customer gives approval, and communicate with the supervisor regarding challenges.Responsibilities:
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing HVAC systems, and performing warranty services.
- Troubleshooting defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses.
- Performing preventative maintenance by cleaning reheat coils and air handling units, and monitoring and calibrating air handling units.
- Improving air quality by cleaning ducts to optimize efficiency.
- Installation of all Heating, Cooling, and Ventilation mechanical equipment.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions.
- Maintaining service truck.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with the Health and Safety Act.
- Consistently using ServiceTitan for digital work orders and reporting requirements.
- Material ordering and inventory management.
- Use power tools & hand tools.
- Maintain timely communications with customers, supervisors and management to keep them informed of job status.
Requirements:
- 313A refrigeration license.
- ODP license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to conduct infield diagnostics, provide comprehensive next steps and do infield quotes/invoicing using ServiceTitan.
- Strong customer communication skills.
