Optis Consulting _is actively seeking a
Technical Consultant to join their
Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary, NYC, Salt Lake City or Charleston
team. Working closely with the Project Manager, the Senior Technical Consultant will serve as the first point of contact between technical clients integrating our partners' solutions (SAP Ariba, Coupa, GEP, Celonis and/or Ivalua) with their ERP and/or other internal and 3rd party systems. The Technical Consultant will be responsible for developing technology solutions and mapping Optis customers' business requirements to systems/technical requirements to ensure they are in line with the enterprise architectural plan. As a Technical Consultant, you will provide input to the strategic direction of technology investments to assist Optis customers in the development of the enterprise architecture and maximize their return on technology investment. We need our Technical Consultants to be confident, versatile and passionate, with an ability to tackle new problems as we continue to help our customers to improve. They must be logical thinkers, have a strong ability to collaborate as part of a team and manage ambiguous or uncertain situations. They must have exceptional communication skills, be adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Proven experience leading Coupa S2P implementation projects as a solution/integration architect throughout the entire project lifecycle, from kickoff to golive.
  • Good understanding of REST API, SOAP Web Services and other integration architectures.
  • Will be responsible to develop solutions for clients using service oriented architecture pattern.
  • Define and gather requirements and conduct design sessions for technical solutions (Coupa preferred).
  • Responsible for defining and documenting Integration architecture, capturing, and documenting nonfunctional (architectural) requirements, preparing estimates, and defining technical solutions
  • Estimate the tasks and resources required to design, build, and test the code.
  • Maintain a sharp focus on system reliability and ensure overall solution architecture can gracefully handle upstream and downstream system failures.
  • Provide indepth expertise in the discipline of Source to Pay, integration architecture, data sources, security, technical design, programming, testing, and deployment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.
  • Functional knowledge of Procurement business processes.
  • Proven skills as a team member, team lead or project manager on at least three full life cycle implementations.
  • Fluent in English, Portuguese or Spanish are a plus.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience presenting clear and concise technical narrative.
  • Experience in developing integrations using REST API, SOAP Web Services and other integration architectures are a plus.

  • ERP Knowledge

  • SAP / PeopleSoft / ORACLE or others is preferred.

SPECIAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to travel within Canada and the United States.
  • Ability to travel up to 35% of your time
