Starks is looking for commercial and service plumbing apprentices and Journeymen. These are full-time positions with competitive compensation commensurate with the experience of the successful applicant. This includes a comprehensive benefit package with health, dental and vision care, and an RRSP matching program.Qualifications
Applicants must:
- Hold a valid Journeyman certification or be enrolled in an accredited program;
- Have a valid driver's licence, a current driver's abstract, and a current criminal record check;
- Be reliable, selfmotivated, sociable, and approachable;
- Have a strong work ethic, and take pride in a job well done;
- Effectively communicate, both on paper and verbally.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant must have experience
- Diagnosing and repairing residential and commercial plumbing and heating systems:
- Troubleshoot and repair boiler systems and pumps;
- Install and service water heaters, plumbing fixtures, pumps;
- Maintain a clean well stocked service vehicle
- Must have own hand tools, multimeter
- Maintain professional conduct and a good working relationship at all times with customers, owners, consultants, management, staff, and the general public.
