- _Performing general office duties such as ordering supplies_
- _Maintaining records management database systems and retention_
- _Basic understanding of construction quotes for metal roofing & siding_
- _Providing quotes for retail customers_
- _Sales, customer service and estimating experience in the building and construction industry_
- _Ability to multi-task and provide first-class service to all customers and contractors_
- _Identifying all costs associated with a project_
- _Creating proposals for all customers _
- _Understanding customer specifications and proposing a final budget _
- _Sending paperwork for received purchase orders to the accounts payable department for payment processing_
- _Receipt of incoming product transfers are submitted to Head office in a timely manner_
- _Ensure all receipts pertaining to trucking are to be scanned and submitted to Head Office daily_
- _Communicate in a prompt and professional manner with carriers and internal team members_
- _Operate equipment to assist in the production process_
- _Maintain the warehouse's equipment_
- _Wrapping, bending steel and preparing order for shipment_
- _Store products and material_
- _Assemble materials and equipment as required_
- _Meet deadlines of individual production tasks during shift_
- _Report on defective products or equipment_
- _Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production line_
- _Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met_
- _Check stock levels and report deficiencies in products or raw materials_
- _Keep the worksite clean to avoid hazards _
- _Review and follow manufacturing manuals _
- _Transfer equipment manually or with forklift trucks_
- _Follow the company's safety and quality guidelines_

Qualifications:_

- _Exceptional communication skills both oral and written in English_
- _Construction industry experience an asset_
- _Knowledge of office management systems and procedures_
- _Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work_
- _Attention to detail and problem-solving skills_
- _A professional demeanor and attitude_
- _Prior experience in a production setting preferred_
- _Understand basic fraction calculations and read a tape measure_
- _Experience with general power tools, skill saw, circular saw_
- _Good understanding of how production equipment works_
- _Knowledge of basic safety rules and precautionary measures_
- _Ability to lift heavy loads up to and including 50 lbs_
- _Clean driver's abstract, Class 5 license, forklift ticket _
- _Feels at ease in a constantly evolving environment_
- _Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines_
- _Travel is required _

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
