The Service Centre Specialist is responsible for supporting Canadian Wealth Management (CWM) (ScotiaMcLeod, iTrade, PIC, and Trust) Advisors, Advisor teams, and clients with all service-related inquiries, Level 1 technology support and matters of policy and procedures, with a specific expertise in complex operational and regulatory practices and initiatives.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Ensure questions are resolved effectively and efficiently, conduct analysis, and provide recommendations as required
- Work with leadership to resolve complex, multifaceted problems to meet the business needs of the CWM businesses with a specific focus on creating operational efficiencies and solutions to enhance service and inquiry resolution
- Provide analysis that assists with problemsolving and solution recommendations to the leadership team
- Exercise judgment and ensure all operational and support issues are escalated as required
- Deliver worldclass support and aptitude for firstcall resolution
- Take ownership of inquiries and adhere to the standard Service Level Agreement (SLA), ensuring information is accurately delivered
- Assist in analyzing, creating, and maintaining a variety of Excel reports
The Must Haves:
- Experience working in an investment trading environment including knowledge of Wealth Applications such as Broadridge, SCORE, WealthOne, and Salesforce is an asset
- Completion of both the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is an asset
- IIROC licensed as an Investment Representative is an asset
- Good understanding of existing client onboarding and maintenance rules, regulations, and processes
- Strong knowledge of the operational processes and systems used in support of Wealth Management business
- Bilingual (French/English) is an asset
