What you will do:
- Direct and control all maintenance (reactive, preventative, and predictive) relative to mine and hoist equipment, machinery, and components in a safe and efficient manner
- Oversee and manage maintenance coordination on day to day and project basis
- Be involved in maintenance planning and budgeting
- Develop positive employee relations and support effective performance management
- Develop good working relationship with union and particpate or lead OHS Committee
- Maintain knowledge of and comply with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Company Policies and Procedures, laws and regulations
- Actively promote and engage in continuous improvement of Mine Maintenance processes
- Foster and promote strong safety leadership throughout the department
What you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized university
- Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan, with the goal of attaining P.Eng status
- Good technical knowledge of mining, an understanding of the mining operations as a whole, and be up to date on technological advancements in this area
- Strong leadership skills to help bring accountability to the team by creating a supportive and motivating work environment
- Ability to influence, motivate and engage personnel to achieve divisional goals and safe work practices
- A commitment to safety
- High level of professionalism and complex decisionmaking abilities
- Strong organizational skills with ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, planning and problemsolving skills
