ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:


Under the direction of The Marketing Manager, the Marketing Assistants role will be to assist and support in the execution of the 2023 marketing strategy for the Gertex Group through the creation and implementation of various marketing initiatives through both online and offline channels.


BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Social Media

  • Build, manage and maintain the company's social media presence on various platforms
  • Take ownership of the Monthly Gertex Group of Companies newsletter
  • Create new and innovative social media content that will attract prospective clients and followers
  • Filming videos to distribute on our social media platforms
  • Participate in social media discussions and respond to comments on the company
  • Creative writing and content development for blogs and other postings
  • Maintain our brand image through all Social Media channels and through all companies
  • Create organic social media growth strategies.

Website

  • Create engaging, practical, and informative blog/article/case study content to post to the website
  • Execute the SEO strategy through changes to website categories and pages
  • Revamp the written work on aging pages on the website
  • Brainstorm fresh ideas for our website strategy
  • Develop and refine Sustainability category of all our company and corporate sites
  • Create and edit video content for our brands.
  • Liaise with our Vendors ensuring our marketing materials and content are up to date. Review website content, marketing materials, product positioning, images, and brand image on an ongoing basis.
  • Generate content ideas and contribute to brainstorming practices.

Salary:
$40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
