The Accounting Manager works closely with the CFO, providing input, raising issues and developing action plans. He/she is responsible for managing the team, coordinating its work and implementing training programs to improve team members' skills.
Here is how you will be involved

  • Oversee the complete accounting cycle, approve accounting entries and process entries as required and prepare financial statements
  • Approve monthly analyses of the balance sheet
  • Approve expenditures
  • Control responsibilities
  • Cashflow oversight
  • Solvency test for dividend
  • Analyze all client and vendor data and make the necessary adjustments for accounting treatment
  • Responsible for annual tax credits submission and response to inquiries
  • Oversight in annual tax filling
Your experience

  • Accounting designation or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in similar role
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook especially, with advanced Excel skills.

  • Excellent problemsolving skills
  • Bilingualism in French and English, as you will be working with resources outside the province of Quebec
