  • JOB SUMMARY
  • In conjunction with professional therapists, the Rehabilitation Worker will implement prescribed treatment plans, document and evaluate residents/clients identified therapy needs.


  • EDUCATION

  • Grade 12 or Equivalent
  • Completed College Certificate in Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) program from a recognized college
  • Required
  • Consideration will also be given to a completed University degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on therapeutic techniques and equipment.


KNOWLEDGE- Minimum 6 months of current experience in implementing therapeutic interventions as prescribed by Care Providers preferably in a long term care geriatric setting.


SKILLS- Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the duties of the position, have an excellent rapport with people and demonstrated working ability with Senior Citizens.


  • Must have a good attendance record.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- In accordance with the Corporate Criminal Record Check Policy, the position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Records Check and submit a Canadian Police Clearance Certificate - Condition of Employment


Shift Information:

Required to work days, evenings and nights including weekends. Must be willing and able to work up to 24 hours per week and declare availability of 32 hours per week
