We have an opening for the role of Part Time Instructor for our Hospitality and Hotel Management Programs.


The available shifts include:

• Daytime classes run 9:00am 5:30pm, Tues-WedThurs
• Evening classes 4:30pm 9:00pm, Monday through Friday
• Saturdays 9:00am 5:00pm

The salary range for this role is $35 to $45 per hour.


What You'll Do

• Delivering effective lessons using available resources incorporating various teaching/learning methods to meet the course outcomes.
• Lesson planning, assignments, class management and overall course assessment of the students' work.
• Engaging students by tutoring and academic counselling while evaluating progress and achievement.
• Challenging ideas, encouraging students to develop skills and knowledge in critical thinking.
• Bring excitement, enthusiasm, and commitment to the Hospitality and Hotel Management Programs.

• Introduction to business
• Computers
• Operations/supply chain management
• Business law
• Marketing/sales
• Intro to HR management
• Analyzing financial information
• International business
• Statistics for decision making and analysis
• Project management
• Business ethics
• Personal development/career planning

Who We Are Looking for

• 23 years' experience in vocational training or equivalent work experience, or a combination of both.
• Previous teaching experience at a private/public college or university is preferred.

A post-secondary degree in the relevant field is an asset.

• Demonstrated experience in teaching, supervising student work, and providing support and feedback is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate complex information to a range of multicultural students both orally and in writing.
• Previous curriculum and program development experience is considered an asset.
• Capable of working independently as well as being part of a team.
