OFFICE MANAGER / BOOKKEEPER / CONTROLLER
A&E Group (Est previously known as Fairbank Nunas Architects (Est is a well-established architectural firm in Edmonton. We are creative thinkers with a passion for design and compassion for our communities.

We provide hands-on professional consulting services to our clients and are committed to excellence in all aspects of architecture, interior design, and prime consulting services.

A&E Group is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper/Controller to join our team.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field.
  • 5 years experience in a similar position.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Accounting Bookkeeping skills.
  • Advanced level Excel skills including advanced functions
  • Analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Strong sense of selfmotivation, and accountability with great attention to detail.

Roles + Responsibilities

  • General office administration duties.
  • Prepare invoices and complete the posting process for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, banking, payroll, and provincial/federal reporting requirements
  • Manage and reconcile AP and AR.
  • Post all transactions to the Sage Accounting Program.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Bookkeeping/Accounting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills are required.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize your workload
  • Assist with any other projects as assigned.
  • Document Management and Control.
Work Week: 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (Monday-Friday)

(37.5 hours per week)

  • Edmonton, AB T5J 3R8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Office Administration and Bookkeeping: 3 years (preferred)
