Job Summary:
The warehouse associate is responsible for the organization and operation of the warehouse. The individual will be responsible for the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory. The warehouse associate will also participate in the shipping and receiving of materials and supplies. The individual will report to the warehouse manager and will have no direct reports.
Essential Duties:
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently
- Ensure all incoming materials are received in a timely manner
- Operate computerized pallet jack and other equipment as needed to load or unload materials or products
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Sort, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory to ensure that inventory levels are within specifications
- Operate forklift safely and efficiently
- Participate in daily safety training activities
- Perform other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history.
- Prior experience operating a forklift preferred.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Must be able to work at heights up to 50 feet.
Salary:
$17.50-$21.34 per hour
