- The Project Manager performs a wide range of duties covering planning, monitoring and control including of the following:- Deliver flawless automations and journeys projects using Marketing Cloud platforms
- Facilitate and support the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables working directly with customers to understand their unique business challenges and objectives supporting the consulting team.
- Create and develop project plans, define, assemble and manage resource requirements and allocation
- Track and ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality using appropriate tools and conducting project close and post mortems
- Monitor and present reports defining project progress status, issues, solutions and success metrics to key stakeholders
- Act as a leader and agent for execution excellence, innovation and a positive work environment
- Internally manage communications with senior management in Sales, Client Management, Operations, Support and IT and may engage and oversee the work of external vendors
- Influence and implement continuous improvements to operational and delivery processes.
- Stay abreast of industry technology innovations, new business practices, and third party technology solutions.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience managing technical projects across multiple teams in an Information Technology, Internet or Digital Marketing business environment.
- University Degree preferably in Marketing. Strong program and project management background is required. PMP designation preferred
- Thorough understanding of project management principles and development methodologies
- Strong knowledge of Marketing Cloud platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Bronto, Mailchimp) and solutions available within those platforms
- Ability to lead concurrent projects and programs with multidisciplinary crossfunctional project teams.
- Natural leader who fosters engagement and a positive team environment with strong people management skills
- Ability to work effectively with little supervision based upon an agreed to set of objectives and goals
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with technical solutions involving IT, Managed Services, 3rd party vendors, etc, and understanding of key technologies
- Superior interpersonal, communication in English/French (oral, written) and diplomacy skills proven ability to work effectively across Business Units (technical, nontechnical) and with multiple levels of the organization (Working Level through Executive Level)
- Exceptional organization, planning, analytical and strategic thinking skills with attention to detail.
- Highly motivated and proactive individual capable of owning and driving assignments with ability to influence (add value)
- Decisive manager with willingness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities and shifting priorities, demands and timelines with ability to multitask and deliver in a highpace environment
- Strong customer service orientation
