What you can expect when joining the team


As a Strategic Advisor - Data Governance, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining data governance practices within the organization.

You will provide strategic guidance on best practices, product and third-party implementation, and compliance frameworks that ensure the integrity, security, and quality of data held by the organization.


Your daily life

During the day, you will be led to:

  • Ensure a comprehensive management plan aligning initiatives involving data;
  • Oversee data governance throughout its lifecycle;
  • Maintain a consolidated view of overall progress in data management;
  • Define, communicate, and maintain policies, standards, and procedures to ensure consistency in datarelated practices within the company;
  • Participate in the design and implementation of crossfunctional initiatives involving sound data management;
  • Keep data processing records, data flows, and dashboards up to date;
  • Identify potential risks related to data governance and develop mitigation strategies;
  • Work closely with information security and privacy teams to ensure adequate protection measures;
  • Raise awareness within the company about best practices to ensure the proper management of information assets;
  • Stay abreast of legislative developments and new trends in compliance management associated with data.

Your profile
Are you a seasoned professional, recognized for your ability to navigate successfully in the field of data governance? Are you looking for an opportunity to play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining best practices in data management within an innovative healthcare company?_ The sky is the limit _If you have:

  • A university degree in a related field;
  • Over 8 years of experience in strategic analysis/advisory roles;
  • Significant experience in a field related to governance, compliance, data protection, or personal information;
  • A keen interest in the evolving trends in data management markets;
  • A comprehensive vision and deep understanding of issues related to data management;
  • Knowledge of the latest legislative developments in data protection;
  • Influential leadership and experience in a crossfunctional role within a matrix structure;
  • The ability to navigate adeptly among stakeholders from various departments, asserting your perspectives and effectively rallying collaborators;
  • Advanced communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with demonstrated presentation skills;
  • The ability to track data throughout its lifecycle within the company;
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Exemplary organizational skills;
  • A keen sense of initiative;
  • Since you will be interacting with various colleagues, some of whom are English or Frenchspeaking only, advanced proficiency in both English and French (spoken, written, and read) is preferable.
