Description
WickedWalls is seeking full time drywall installers and drywall tapers for residential and small commercial jobs in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
- Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
- Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
- Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
- Safety is a key responsibility; you are responsible to look out for yourself and those around you
Qualifications:
- Preferred 2 years experience in residential construction/insulation
- Class 5 Licence (required)
Salary:
$23.14-$30.42 per hour
Supplemental pay types:
- Bonus pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Taping: 1 year (preferred)
