We are currently seeking a Terminal Operator to support our operations in Oshawa. The ideal candidate will have a strong maintenance background or industrial mechanical experience and valid driver's license

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and conduct general maintenance on cement handling equipment (pneumatic pumps, hoses, fittings, air slides and valves)
• Participate in the discharge of cement from our marine vessels to pneumatic tanks/storage silo's.
• Loading of trucks/customers/carriers using the proper SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) for each task.
• Maintains grounds: offices, warehouse, yard
• Re-claiming operations, includes front-end loader operations within our storage warehouse.
• Assists with general mechanical maintenance and inspections for stationary equipment such as ventilation systems, dust extractors, compressors, and blowers.
• Maintain proper customer service to clients and carriers
• Maintain and record inventory (SAP & excel spreadsheets)
• Uses safe practices when carrying out tasks, and complies with current procedures, laws and regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Highschool diploma, while further education is an asset
• Previous experience in maintenance, cement/construction industry is an asset
• Valid drivers license
