ANDREA IYAMAH is a fashion brand recognised for its eccentric and unique take on swimwear and ready-to-wear clothing and we are looking for a Supply Chain Manager.
Below listed are the job duties, skills, and qualifications needed.JOB DUTIES
- Coordinate the daytoday operations processes related to quoting freight.
- Reserve & book ocean freight containers & air shipments with our broker agents.
- Coordinate and deliver the containers from port to warehouse.
- Provide backup support to our Logistics Department.
- Generate reports and update internal customers on the status of the shipments.
- Organizing and managing inventory, storage, and transportation.
- Consulting with both the B2B and B2C departments.
- Analyzing and optimizing logístical procedures.
- Reviewing, preparing, and routing purchase orders.
- Ensuring the safe and timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
- Monitoring shipments, costs, timelines, and productivity.
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
- Work with suppliers to resolve overage/shortage & damage issues and file freight claims.
- Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and retailers.
- Coordinating with Procurement team members, raw material suppliers, and transportation arriers to coordinate inbound logistics domestically and internationally.
- Coordinating with Procurement team members, raw material suppliers, and transportation to ensure timely response on timesensitive action items.
- Identify opportunities to reduce overall freight spending.
- Review with the Accounts Department the freight invoices and ensure that they match agreed terms for services rendered.
- Maintain and update logistics cost records.
- Attend meetings to discuss transportation, process improvement, business strategies, and other Logistics and Delivery topics.
- Maintain shipment histories and document files.
- Track and trace all shipments from origins to all final destinations: Vendors/Factories, Freight Forwarder's/Steamship Line, Custom Brokers Trucking Companies, Terminal/Ports.
- Assist in the management of international and crossborder logistics: Compliance, Tax and duties remittance, Reverse logistics, Commercial invoices, and Duty drawback.
- Responsible for the ocean, air, and trucking freight cargo processing including communications, rating, booking, document handling, billing, tracking, and delivery of cargo.
- Recommends appropriate carrier for the customer's ocean, trucking, or air cargo according to customer needs, rate levels, or other requirements.
- Ensures international shipments have both freight release and customs release to prevent any unnecessary delays.
- Troubleshoots transportation issues to the customer's satisfaction or escalates complex problems to the supervisor.
- Ensures that goods are delivered in full in a timely manner in the most costeffective manner.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Required 23 years of proven logistics experience.
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
- Familiarity with ERP software like NetSuite.
- Familiarity with EDI software like Spring Systems.
- Familiarity with thirdparty logistics.
- Ability to resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Good researching and negotiation skills.
- Highly motivated and detailoriented individual.
- Ability to manage strict deadlines.
- Ability to offer excellent customer service.
- Computer literate.
- Aboveaverage understanding of MS Excel.
- Strong recordkeeping skills.
- Wellhoned data analysis techniques.
- Topnotch reporting abilities.
- A strategic, adaptable, and supportive disposition.
- High product knowledge.
- Interest in the fashion industry is preferred.

From $19.00 per hour
