This position is a part of the Association of the Academic Staff of the University of Alberta (AASUA).


In accordance with the Temporary Librarian, Administrative and Professional Officer (TLAPO) Agreement, this position is from January 2, 2024 to March 31, 2025, and offers a comprehensive benefits package found at Faculty & Staff Benefits.

Annual salary range will be commensurate with qualifications.


Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person at Noth Campus Edmonton.

Are you a knowledgeable, collaborative and strategy-focused enrolment management (EM) professional who loves to work in a dynamic and challenging environment? A skilled advisor with a deep knowledge of the university who is dedicated to the pursuit of strategic institutional enrolment management? Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Enrolment Management within the Office of the Registrar, the Enrolment Management Service Partner (EMSP) provides end-to-end support for student intake management for all undergraduate programs in the Academic Unit in the context of institutional enrolment planning.


Position Summary
EMSPs are responsible for the delivery of strategic, data-driven, short
- and long-term enrolment planning for undergraduate programs and faculties, and for the execution of those plans. The EMSPs are service-minded professionals who connect academic leaders within their portfolios to the resources and services that support enrolment management throughout the student enrolment management cycle.


Drawing on your proven experience in enrolment management, you will act as a strategic professional advisor to the College Dean(s), Deans, and other senior leaders within your portfolio.

You will collaborate with your fellow EMSPs, the Office of the Registrar units, faculties, and other university-wide departments to deliver on the goals of program, faculty, college, and institutional enrolment management plans.

You will drive forward-thinking change by advocating for continuous improvement of EM policy and practice.


Duties

  • Provide endtoend support for student intake management for all undergraduate programs in your assigned college(s) in the context of institutional enrolment planning.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with academic leaders within your portfolio, acting as a first point of contact on all strategic enrolment matters.
  • Deliver seniorlevel, datadriven professional advice to academic and administrative leaders on the development and execution of short
- and long-term enrolment plans for programs and faculties.

  • Provide input into University, college, faculty, and program strategic enrolment planning processes that is informed by a knowledge of the programs and disciplines within the College(s), and of the local, Canadian and global context.
  • Advise academic leaders on key factors impacting enrolment management, including identifying enrolment management risks and advising on strategies to manage these risks.
  • Maintain high levels of trust by providing datainformed advice and through accountability for the execution of enrolment plans and objectives.
  • Actively participate in your colleges', campuses, faculty leadership teams to proactively identify EM concerns, needs, challenges and opportunities, and work closely with your colleagues in the EM centre of expertise to deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop and advocate for consistent universitywide EM practices that are informed by the programs and academic structures within your college(s).
  • Analyze colleges' EM priorities and advocate to ensure EM services are optimized to support both college and institutional goals.
